It breaks our heart,
but this year we can’t have the giveaway in person.
With all that’s going on in our city, we do not want to put our Head Start families at risk by having them be a part of large gatherings.
Instead, we will make sure our families can celebrate safely at home by giving them $100 grocery gift cards, toys and books.

Since 1983, the One Voice Holiday Food Program has been giving Christmas food baskets, toys and books to low-income families living within the Los Angeles community. We began with just 70 families and have grown to helping thousands of families every year. All the families are a part of Head Start and meet state and federal poverty criteria.
Living in poverty is especially hard during the holidays when there are no resources to make the season special. This year is even harder. As the future of benefits is uncertain, low-income families are struggling even more. With your help we will give $100 grocery gift cards, toys and books to Head Start families so they can celebrate the holidays in their own homes with friends and family.
